Abstract of the Disclosure : In a resilient harrow tine of S-like shape and comprising a resilient hoop portion bent substantially to form a circle and having a cross-section the basic form of which is a rectangle with a ratio between the width and the height of approximately 3, the ratio between the strength and the material consumption has been optimized by designing the cross-section so that the neutral stress line is displaced in the direction towards the outwardly facing long side of the cross-section of the resilient hoop portion in relation to the longitudinal centre line of the circumscribed rectangle of the cross-section.
