Abstract of Disclosure In accordance with the invention, there is provided an assembly of two members having therebetween a resilient heat-resistant laminated composite consisting essentially of a plurality of layers of graphite cloth bonded together by silicone rubber, the graphite cloth forming from about 60% to 90% by volume of the composite.
