ABSTRACT A resilient rail fastening by means of spring clamps, with a spring loop and shaft, bent from steel rod or bar material, for holding down the rail foot on concrete ties or tieless railroad tracks. The shaft penetrates through a supporting plate and the concrete tie or tieless rail- road tracks. The shaft, with a claw or talon at its tip, engages positively, in the tensioned or clamped condition, behind the penetration passage, a holding surface facing the tie or railroad track underside. The spring loop, with the holding-down finger, holds the rail foot down directly or by means of the supporting plate, whereby the tensioning or clamping limitation engages the supporting plate. The clamping limitation may likewise be embodied as a spring loop. The holding surface for the claw or talon may be embodied in a spiral form.
