Resilient support comprising at least two coaxial cylindrical sleeves (10, 20) coupled by a resiliently compressible material (3), the resilient material (3) being compressed by changing the length of the median line of the cross section of one of said sleeves (10) in the direction wherein the median lines of the cross sections of the two adjacent sleeves (10, 20) radially converge. The sleeve (10) with the modified median line includes prelocated longitudinal folds (11), circumferentially uniformly distributed.
