Abstract of the Disclosure A resilient yielding means for the roll pair in a crusher appa- ratus where at least one of the two crush rolls has been rotatably carried on a swing arm rotatably carried in the frame of the apparatus so that the throat between the rolls opens under effect of an uncrushable object impacted therebetween. The resilient yielding mechanism consists of two linkage arms pivotally mounted after each other, one end of this pair of arms being rotatably carried in the frame of the crusher apparatus and the opposite end in the swing arm. The pair of arms is acted upon by a force which is opposite in direction to the forces tending to open the rolls.
