ABSTRACT Resin blends are disclosed which have an invasive morphology typified by a polycyanate resin being invaded by particles of a thermoplastic polymer during the curing process. These resin blends with invasive morphology have superior properties for use in composites. Also claimed is the process for making these resin blends which comprises dispersing a thermoplastic powder in a polycyanate resin under conditions sufficient to disperse, but not to dissolve. the thermoplastic powder in the polycyanate resin; and subjecting this resin blend to conditions sufficient to cure said resin blend to a solid state in which the particles of thermoplastic polymer have invaded the particles of polycyanate resin. 39,227-F
