Abstract of the Disclosure A resin composition for aqueous paint contain- ing, as main components, (A) a resin obtained by reacting a certain epoxy resin, an amine compound and a phenol compound and intrinsically containing neither primary or secondary amino group nor epoxy group; (B) a resin having phenolic hydroxyl groups and intrinsically containing neither primary nor secondary amino group, and (C) a resin compound having glycidyl groups or epoxy groups. The composition is excellent in dispersibility of each component and storage stability, has an extremely low heating loss of the coating film, and is excellent in smoothness, corrosion resistance, adhesion, etc.
