ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method in which a cloth material made of cellulose fibers or a blended yarn, mixed woven or mixed knit cloth ma- terial is impregnated with an aqueous solution of an initial condensation product of a resin treatment material. Then, without any preliminary drying process, the cloth material is subjected to a steaming process which is carried out at a temperature between 110 and 160°C with steam of at least 85% humidity.
