RESINATED WARP YARNS FOR MAKING WOVEN FABRICS FOR USE IN THE PRODUCTION OF PERMANENT-PRESS GARMENTS AND PROCESSES OF PRODUCING SUCH YARNS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Resinated cellulosic-fiber-containing warp yarns which are adapted for weaving into fabrics and which yarns can be woven directly without the addition of conventional sizing agents and which fabrics are suitable for use in the production of penmanent-press garments without further impregnation with resin, which are resinated with a thermosetting resin together with a curing catalyst for the thermosetting resin. The yarns are impregnated with a thermosetting resin prior to weaving which is adapted to impart permanent-press characteristics to the fabrics woven therewith and also serves as a sizing agent during the weaving of the fabric. The resinated yarn is produced by impregnation of the yarn by immersing the yarn in a liquid composi- tion containing the thermosetting resin and curing catalyst dissolved therein, which composition preferably also contains dyes for simultaneously dyeing the yarn.
