Resinous particles carried on the respective grain surface with a metal compound through a metal ester bonding, and preparation methods thereof, said metal compound having a biological activity, above all, against harmful livings, and said preparation method comprising forming a metal ester bonding by reacting a metal compound with resin particles having a mean grain diameter of 0.01 to 250µ and bearing organic acid group(s) in the form of free acid or salt on the respective grain surface thereof. Said resinous particles are characterized by having metal compound(s) only on the respective grain surface, and therefore, the amounts of metal compound required for the preparation of hydrolyzable resinous particles are greatly reduced as compared with those of the heretofore proposed metal containing resinous particles.
