PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION La présente invention concerne une résistance chauffante utilisable notamment pour aquarium, caracté- risée en ce qu'elle est constituée par une résistance électrique proprement dite contenant des particules conductrices mélangées avec un polymère hydrocarboné; la résistance est mise en forme et sujette à subir un traitement thermique contrôlé pour obtenir une conducti- vité électrique voulue du mélange de particules et du polymère. Un revêtement constitué d'un matériau, isolé électriquement, est prévu autour de la résistance élec- trique, le matériau étant un matériau thermoplastique qui conduit la chaleur et procure un revêtement étanche et moulable.
