-0- RESISTIVE RIBBON WITH LUBRICANT SLIPPING LAYER Abstract of the Disclosure A resistive ribbon dye-donor element for resistive ribbon dye transfer is made up of a resistive support bearing a liquid lubricant containing slipping layer on one side of the resistive layer, and a conductive layer and a dye-containing layer on the other side of the resistive layer. The resistive ribbon dye-donor is brought into contact with a dye-receiving element, and a dye transfer image is formed by imagewise supplying current to the dye-donor element to resistively heat it and cause dye to be transferred to the dye-receiving element.
