RESISTOR COMPOSITION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A resistor composition comprising 25 to 75 weight % of cadmium oxide and 75 to 25 weight % of a remainder component, the remainder component comprising 26 to 76 weight parts of at least one member selected from the group consisting of barium oxide, calcium oxide and strontium oxide, 13 to 55 weight parts of at least one member selected from the group consisting of boron oxide and silicon oxide, 4 to 40 weight parts of aluminum oxide and one member selected from the group consisting of 0.01 to 30 weight parts of lead oxide, 0.01 to 20 weight parts of manganese dioxide and 0.01 to 10 weight parts of bismuth oxide. This resistor composition has superior temperature coefficient of resistivity in a wide resistivity range and high stability of its resistivity to humidity. The temperature coefficient of this resistor composition can be easily varied by varying the constituents thereof.
