ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE For use with a data logging tool in a nuclear event measuring system wherein the data is represented by count rates observed in the data, an improved data system is set forth. It is best applied to devices which provide a high count rate. However, even where the count rate is relatively low, benefits are obtained whereby filtering which provides smoothing and mild deconvolution are carried out. The preferred form is a three point filter which is applied to the data whereby smoothing and deconvolution occur to present the output data. HLS 90.091
