A resonant radar reflector assembly comprising first and second reflector members (110A, 110B), the first and second reflector members each being configured to resonate at their respective resonant frequency when irradiated by radio frequency (RF) radiation of a corresponding frequency, wherein the first member has a portion (114A) responsive to an electric field applied parallel to an electric polarisation axis of the first member, the second member having a corresponding portion (114B) responsive to an electric field applied parallel to a corresponding electric polarisation axis of the second member, the first member also having a portion (112A) responsive to a magnetic field applied parallel to a magnetic polarisation axis of the first member, the second member having a corresponding portion (112B) responsive to a magnetic field applied parallel to a corresponding magnetic polarisation axis of the second member, the first and second members being arranged such that at least one electric or magnetic polarisation axis of the first member is substantially not parallel to the corresponding electric or magnetic polarisation axis of the second member.

La présente invention concerne un ensemble de réflecteur de radar résonnant comportant des premier et second éléments de réflecteur (110A, 110B), les premier et second éléments de réflecteur étant chacun configuré pour résonner à leur fréquence de résonance respective lorsquils sont irradiés par rayonnement radiofréquence dune fréquence correspondante. Le premier élément comporte une partie (114A) sensible à un champ électrique appliqué en parallèle à un axe de polarisation électrique du premier élément, le second élément comporte un partie correspondante (114B) sensible à un champ électrique appliqué en parallèle à un axe de polarisation correspondant du second élément, le premier élément comporte également une partie (112A) sensible à un champ magnétique appliqué en parallèle à un axe de polarisation magnétique du premier élément, le second élément comporte également une partie (112B) sensible à un champ magnétique appliqué en parallèle à un axe de polarisation magnétique correspondant du second élément, les premier et second éléments étant disposés de sorte quau moins un axe de polarisation électrique ou magnétique du premier élément ne soit pas sensiblement parallèle à laxe de polarisation électrique ou magnétique correspondant du second élément.
