The electrolytic plating anode comprises a hollow anode (12) and a resonator (14) along the inner surface of the hollow anode (12). A binder (16) provides a bond between the resonator (14) and the inner surface of the anode (12). The anode according to the invention is used particularly for electrolytic plating of the inner surface of steam generator tubes for nuclear reactors employing pressurized water.
