A method for preparing a peptide or protein, wherein (a) a DNA sequence coding for a heterologous polypeptide on a peptide sequence between amino acid residues 130 and 230 of respiratory syncytial virus protein G, sub-groups A and B, or a peptide sequence at least 80 % homologous thereto, and (b) means enabling the expression of the polypeptide on the bacterial membrane surface, are inserted into a bacterium which is not pathogenic for mammals. The resulting conjugate polypeptide and a live bacterium expressing same, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and their use for preparing a vaccine, as well as a DNA sequence coding for said polypeptide, are also disclosed.
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour obtenir un peptide ou une protéine, caractérisé en ce qu'on introduit dans une bactérie non pathogène pour les mammifères: a) une séquence d'ADN codant pour un polypeptide hétérologue porté par une séquence peptidique comprise entre les résidus aminoacides 130 et 230 de la protéine G du virus respiratoire syncytial, sous-groupe A et B ou une séquence peptidique présentant au moins 80 % d'homologie avec ladite séquence peptidique; b) les moyens permettant l'expression du polypeptide à la surface de la membrane de la bactérie. Elle concerne également un polypeptide conjugué et la bactérie vivante l'exprimant obtenus par le procédé, les compositions pharmaceutiques les renfermant et leur application à la préparation d'un vaccin ainsi que la séquence d'ADN codant pour ce polypeptide.
