In order to treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea, the inner respiratory tract is subjected to atmospheric pressure and the outer surrounding area of the respiratory tract is subjected to an artificial low pressure, the difference between the inner atmospheric pressure and the outer low pressure remaining constant. The respiratory therapy device consists of a pressure- stable hollow body which surrounds the human body while keeping free the natural respiratory opening. Said hollow body forms a low pressure chamber at least in the outer surrounding area of the respiratory tract. The low pressure chamber (7) is connected to a suction pump (3) via a suction tube (2). The inventive method and respiratory therapy device make it possible to breathe in a free atmosphere.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil destinés au traitement du ronflement et de l'apnée obstructive du sommeil. Selon le procédé en question, la voie respiratoire interne est soumise à la pression atmosphérique et la zone périphérique externe de la voie respiratoire est soumise à une dépression artificielle, la différence entre la pression atmosphérique interne et la dépression externe étant maintenue à une valeur constante. L'appareil de thérapie respiratoire conçu selon l'invention se compose d'un corps creux stable à la pression, ledit corps creux entourant le corps humain, tout en maintenant libre l'ouverture respiratoire naturelle, et formant, au moins dans la zone périphérique externe de la voie respiratoire, une chambre de dépression (7), laquelle est reliée à une pompe d'aspiration (3) par l'intermédiaire d'un tuyau d'aspiration (2). Avec ce procédé et cet appareil de thérapie respiratoire, il est possible de respirer à l'air libre.
