A rapid response system using a smoke alarm and a remote signaling device that when activated will signal a receiver in a respond first light , and a audio signaling device, thus rapidly identifying and locating persons who are in need of assistants during an emergency . All components of this system will be battery powered. The respond first light beacon will have a placard which will identify the parties inside . The light will not only serve as a highly visible rescue beacon to draw the attention of rescuers, but also as a directional light pointing the way to the nearest exit for persons who may be able to assist themselves. The audio signaling device attached to the person or near the person will guide rescuers in a no visibility situation such as a smoke filled room directly to the location of a person in need of assistance.
