ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE RETAINING AND SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR MACHINERY LIFT PLATFORMS A retaining and support assembly for supporting a lift platform or cage at an elevated position on machinery, the lift platform or cage having an engagement plate which may located between a stop and retractable pin supported on the machinery so as to be wedged in position to support the platform or cage. The pin may be retracted to allow for release of the platform or cage from its elevated position.
