The mandrel comprises a body with a grooved plane surface in relation to which is mounted a pivoting gripping jaw. It is remarkable in that the body consists of a long and flat support (1), which has an indentation (5) in an upper plane face, and of a plate (2) complementing the indentation and grooved to receive one or more fibres, which is mounted removable in the indentation of the support.
