ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a novel roller assembly for a continuous belt conveyor wherein an improvement comprises a retaining means for rollers comprising a bracket; a first notch in said bracket to receive a roller shaft; and a lug adjacent to said notch, said lug adapted to be bent partially over the notch to retain said roller shaft within said notch. The invention combines ease of assembly with a positive retaining means.
