RETAINING WALL SYSTEM ABSTRACT A retaining wall system has a number of units placed on top of the other. The units are constructed to be capable of interengaging one another in a plurality of selected positions so that the angle of the face of the resultingwall to the vertical can be different at different heights. Preferably the uppersurface of each unit is substantially convex and the lower surface of each unit is a substantially complementary concave configuration. The blocks engage complementarily in more than one possible relative position and are shaped to resist being displaced therefrom by lateral forces.
