Retention bodies (60) for securing a fiber optic cable thereto for optical connectorization are disclosed along with fiber optic cable assemblies. The fiber optic cable (30) is inserted into a passage of the retention body and secured to the same using a bonding agent and/or a mechanical element. The rear end opening of the passage is configured for inserting and securing an end portion of the fiber optic cable having at least one strength component and a portion of a cable jacket. Additionally, the retention body has a buckling chamber (91) disposed within the retention body passage for accommodating movement of optical fiber. The retention body is latched to a sub-plug assembly via latching fingers or integrated therewith.
La présente invention concerne des corps de retenue (60) permettant de fixer un câble à fibres optiques à ceux-ci pour un raccordement optique ; elle concerne également des ensembles câble à fibres optiques. Le câble à fibres optiques (30) est inséré dans un passage du corps de retenue et est fixé à celui-ci à laide dun agent de liaison et/ou dun élément mécanique. Louverture dextrémité arrière du passage est conçue pour linsertion et la fixation dune partie dextrémité du câble à fibres optiques comportant au moins un composant de contrainte et une partie dune gaine de câble. En outre, le corps de retenue présente une chambre de flambage (91) disposée à l'intérieur du passage du corps de retenue pour accueillir le mouvement de la fibre optique. Le corps de retenue est verrouillé à un ensemble sous-embase par le biais de doigts de verrouillage ou est intégré à celui-ci.
