A polymeric film having superior oxygen barrier properties comprising at least five layers with at least one exterior layer comprised of polyester, one exterior layer selected from the group consisting of a polyester, an aliphatic polyamide, and an aliphatic/aromatic polyamide, an interior layer of ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer or a blend of an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer and an aliphatic/aromatic polyamide, and a modified polyolefin adhesive layer between each exterior layer and the interior layer.

L'invention concerne un film polymère présentant des propriétés supérieures d'arrêt de l'oxygène, comprenant au moins 5 couches avec au moins une couche extérieure en polyester, une couche extérieure choisie dans le groupe constitué d'un polyester, d'un polyamide aliphatique et d'un polyamide aliphatique/aromatique, une couche intérieure d'un copolymère d'éthylène alcool vinylique ou un mélange d'un copolymère d'éthylène alcool vinylique et d'un polyamide aliphatique/aromatique, ainsi qu'une couche d'adhésif en polioléfine modifiée entre chaque couche extérieure et la couche intérieure.
