ABSTRACT This invention relates to a weighted float which is slidably mounted on a rod positioned above the tank valve. The float either descends or does not descend to close the valve and produce a water saving short flush. The downward movement of float is controlled by a counterweighted catch biased in the open position activated by the user through the existing flush handle.
