Abstract of the Disclosure In order to prevent physical development effects and colour staining in a photographic multicolour material, a silver halide emulsion layer containing no colour couplers is provided between a colloidal silver antihalation layer and the dye image forming silver halide emulsion layers, the said emulsion layer containing no colour couplers, being spectrally sensitized for the same wavelength range as the adjacent silver halide emulsion layer comprising a colour coupler.
