REVERSIBLE AUTOMOBILE FLOOR MAT ABSTRACT A reversible automobile floor mat that can be used independently of the seasons. The floor mat comprises a main portion for lying flat on an automobile floor and an upwardly inclinable portion for lying on an inclined surface within the automobile, such as behind the pedals. The main portion of one side of said mat includes a centrally disposed upwardly extending area surrounded by a downwardly recessed area for catching water, sand or other summer contaminants. The other side of the mat has a centrally disposed downwardly recessed area forming a pan for catching snow, water, salt, sand and other winter contaminants. Each side of the mat has a plurality of ribs or ridges, either to channel the contaminants into the downwardly recessed area or to be used as anti-sliding means when said side of the mat is facing the floor of the automobile.
