A reversible latch assembly has a faceplate assembly (1), a latch bolt assembly (2), a bolt-releasing assembly (4), a guardian bolt assembly (3), a driver assembly (5) and a casing assembly (6). The latch bolt assembly (2), the bolt-releasing assembly (4) and the guardian bolt assembly (3) are rotatably mounted inside the casing assembly (6) and allow the latch assembly to be reversed and used in either a clockwise or counterclockwise opening door.
