A REVERSING DEVICE FOR AN ELONGATED SECTION MEMBER Abstract of the Disclosure A reversing device for a section member for turning a horizontally placed section member upside-down comprising: a pair of wheels located concentrically and spaced mutually apart, each wheel having an aperture at the center thereof through which a section member can pass; a fixing means located around said aperture in each of said wheels for fixing said section member to said wheel; at least one pair of driving means for rotating said pair of wheels in a synchronized manner; and a control means for restricting the angle of rotation of said pair of wheels to 180 degrees. The device according to the invention enables the continuity of the transfer line for section members to be maintained, the area or space occupied by the whole transfer line for section members to be minimized, the speed of reversing section members to be increased and the reversing device itself to be small in size.
