A revetment block (10) for use forming an articulating revetment mat. The revetment block has first (20)and second (22) ends and first (16) and second sidewalls (18). The sidewalls have a first lower vertical surface (30), first and second upper vertical surfaces (32, 34), and transition surfaces (36, 38) between the upper and lower vertical surfaces. The sidewalls define interlocks (17) which extend outward from the sidewalls and are either normal to the upper vertical surfaces or angled. The sidewalls also design corner spaces comprising a transition surface and at least on vertical surface for operably communicating with an interlock. The revetment block may also comprise a plurality of ducts (60) extending therethrough as well as a dome (213) extending from the top surface of the revetment block. The revetment block may also comprise at least one aperture (50) extending through the block. The aperture may have tapered walls.

L'invention porte sur un bloc de revêtement destiné à former une couverture articulée. Ledit bloc présente une première et une deuxième extrémité et une première et une deuxième paroi latérale.
