A method and system for providing point-of-sale and point-of-delivery and/or distribution of products in a restricted access unit near the customer. The method and system utilize products equipped with radio frequency tags and reduce the effects of energy sharing, shadowing, and nulls. In one embodiment, a plurality of RF tagged products are placed within a refrigerator, cabinet, or other micro-warehouse that has a door or opening that can detect access to the micro-warehouse. In one embodiment, one or more antennas are positioned within the door. Each antenna may have a transmission line of sight and be configured to emit a signal at predefined frequencies. Each antenna generates an electromagnetic field within the micro-warehouse. In one embodiment, the products are positioned in one or more bins, compartments, or similar devices located within the micro-warehouse such that at least two of the plurality of products are spaced a distance from each other to reduce energy sharing. The electromagnetic field is moved or altered within the micro-warehouse through the use of reflectors, devices that move the antennas, or other mechanisms.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système servant à mettre en place un point de vente et un point de distribution de produits dans une unité à accès restreint proche du client. Ce procédé et ce système permettent d'utiliser des produits dotés d'étiquettes de radiofréquence et de diminuer les effets de partage d'énergie, d'observation, et d'extinctions. Dans un mode de réalisation, on place une pluralité de produits étiquetés RF à l'intérieur d'un réfrigérateur, d'une caisse ou d'un micro-entrepôt ayant une porte ou une ouverture capable de détecter l'accès audit micro-entrepôt. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, on positionne au moins une antenne à l'intérieur de la porte. Chaque antenne peut posséder une ligne de transmission de visée et on peut la configurer pour émettre un signal à des fréquences prédéfinies. Chaque antenne permet d'engendrer un champ électromagnétique à l'intérieur du micro-entrepôt. Dans un mode de réalisation différent, on dispose les produits dans au moins un récipient, un compartiment ou similaire situé à l'intérieur du micro-entrepôt, de telle manière qu'au moins deux produits parmi la pluralité de produits sont séparés l'un de l'autre d'une certaine distance pour diminuer le partage de l'énergie. On déplace ce champ électromagnétique ou on le modifie à l'intérieur du micro-entrepôt en utilisant des réflecteurs, des dispositifs qui déplacent les antennes ou d'autres mécanismes.
