The invention relates to a method and device for the production of a ribbon, on a narrow fabric needle loom, which are characterised by the following, repeating method steps: picking a weft thread (4), with (only) one weft needle (1); meshing the weft thread (4), with a catch thread (5), delivered from the side opposite the weft side (weft exit side), by means of a knitting needle (2) working on the weft exit side; returning the weft needle (1) and wrapping the weft thread (4), with a catch thread (6), delivered from the weft side by means of a knitting needle working on the weft side. The invention further relates to narrow fabric needle looms, for production of a ribbon, in particular by the above method.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour produire un ruban sur un métier à aiguille pour ruban, caractérisés par les étapes répétitives suivantes : insertion d'un fil de trame (4) au moyen d'une (seule) aiguille de trame (1) ; maillage du fil de trame (4) avec un fil de retenue (5) livré du côté (côté de sortie de la trame) opposé au côté de la trame au moyen d'une aiguille pour métier à tricoter (2) opérant du côté de sortie de la trame ; retour de l'aiguille de trame (1) ; enlacement du fil de trame (4) avec le fil de retenue (6) livré du côté de la trame au moyen d'une aiguille de métier à tricoter (3) opérant du côté de la trame. L'invention concerne également un métier à aiguille pour ruban servant à produire un ruban, notamment selon le procédé mentionné ci-dessus.
