The invention relates to a right-angle connector (20a, 20b), comprising a plurality of contact ele-ments (50a, 50b) which are arranged next to one another and provided at the back of the right-angle connector (20a, 20b) for soldering to conductors of a printed circuit board (4), comprising an upper shielding (22a, 22b) arranged at least one the upper side of the right-angle connector (20a, 20b) and a lower shielding (34a, 34b) arranged on the lower side. The right-angle (20a, 20b) according to the in-vention is characterized in that the lower shielding (34a, 34b) contains a lower shielding element (36a, 36b) on the connector side, the shielding surface (37a, 37b) of said ele-ment being oriented in the connecting direction (28), the lower shielding (34a, 34b) furthermore contains a separate, rear lower shielding element (38a, 38b), and the lower shielding elements (36a, 36b, 38a, 38b) are electrically connected to each other. The method according to the in-vention for producing the right-angle connector (20a, 20b) uses a laser weld connection for at least the two lower shielding elements (36a, 36b, 38a, 38b). The right-angle connector (20a, 20b) according to the invention allows high-frequency signals to be conducted with high signal quality and high signal integrity. The shielding of the right--angle connector (20a, 20b) according to the invention can be produced in a cost-effective manner with the method ac-cording to the invention.
L'invention concerne un connecteur angulaire (20a, 20b) muni d'une pluralité d'éléments de contact (50a,50b) disposés les uns à côté des autres qui sont prévus sur le côté arrière du connecteur angulaire (20a, 20b) pour le brasage avec des pistes conductrices d'une platine (4), d'un blindage supérieur (22a, 22b) disposé au moins sur le côté supérieur du connecteur angulaire (20a, 20b) et d'un blindage inférieur (34a, 34b) disposé sur le coté inférieur. Le connecteur angulaire (20a, 20b) selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que le blindage inférieur (34a, 34b) contient un élément de blindage inférieur (36a, 36b) du côté enfichage dont la surface de blindage (37a, 37b) est orientée dans le sens d'enfichage (28), en ce que le blindage inférieur (34a, 34b) contient en outre un élément de blindage inférieur arrière séparé (38a, 38b) et en ce que les éléments de blindage inférieurs (36a, 36b, 38a, 38b) sont électriquement reliés ensemble. Le procédé de fabrication du connecteur angulaire (20a, 20b), selon l'invention, prévoit un soudage au laser au moins des deux éléments de blindage inférieurs (36a, 36b, 38a, 38b). Le connecteur angulaire (20a, 20b) selon l'invention permet le guidage de signaux à haute fréquence avec une bonne qualité de signal et une intégrité de signal élevée. Le blindage du connecteur angulaire (20a, 20b) selon l'invention peut être fabriqué à moindre frais avec le procédé selon l'invention.
