ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A vehicle mounted boom apparatus including a lower boom member pivotally mounted at the front end of the vehicle and an upper boom member pivotally connected at the lower boom. A gang of circular saws, including a drive means for the saws, is mounted at the end of the upper boom member so that limbs extending across the right-of-way of a power line can be trimmed in a vertical plane by simply driving the vehicle parallel to the right-of-way and moving the booms vertically relative to each other and the vehicle. The booms are mounted on a base that can be rotated about an axis longitudinally of the vehicle and the gang saws can be moved transversly of the upper boom.
