A ventilated rigid foam building panel, which includes a rigid foam body which has a first face, a second face, a top edge, a bottom edge and opposed side edges. The second face has raised spacers which define air ventilation spaces. The spacers are ribs and the air ventilation spaces are flow channels between the ribs. Elongate reinforcing studs are embedded in the ribs. A panel is secured to raised spacers to define air ventilation spaces between the rigid foam body and the panel.
