Process for the preparation of rigid open celled polyurethane foams comprising the step of reacting an organic polyisocyanate with an isocyanate-reactive material in the presence of a blowing promotor which is an isocyanate-reactive cyclic carbonate or cyclic urea, and in the presence of an aminoalcohol catalyst.

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de mousses de polyuréthanne rigides à alvéoles ouverts, le procédé consistant à mettre en réaction un polyisocyanate organique avec une matière de réaction d'isocyanate, en présence d'un promoteur de gonflement consistant en un carbonate cyclique ou une urée cyclique de réaction d'isocyanate, et en présence d'un catalyseur d'amino-alcool.
