A sink assembly provides an enhanced overflow system for an under-counter mountable sink. The sink has an overflow cutout with an open top formed adjacent an upper rim of the basin of the sink. When the sink is mounted to the bottom surface of a counter top, the sink and counter together form an overflow opening, thereby permitting the overflow to be more easily concealed and increasing the fill capacity of the sink. Methods of installing such sink assemblies are also disclosed.
L'invention concerne un ensemble évier doté d'un système de trop-plein amélioré pour un évier pouvant être monté en dessous d'un plan de travail. L'évier comporte une découpe de trop-plein avec une partie supérieure ouverte adjacente à un rebord supérieur de la cuvette de l'évier. Quand l'évier est monté sur la surface supérieure d'un plan de travail, l'évier et le plan de travail forment ensemble une ouverture de trop-plein, permettant ainsi de mieux cacher le trop-plein et d'augmenter la capacité de remplissage de l'évier. L'invention concerne également des procédés d'installation de ces ensembles évier.
