The invention relates to an external fixator apparatus (1) of the ring type for stabilizing bone fractures, comprising at least one pair of rings (6, 7), of which one (6) is proximal and the other (7) is distal, and at least one tie rod (8, 9, 10) interconnecting the rings (6, 7) to each other, wherein the rod (8, 9, 10) is split into two rod sections (11, 12) connected together by a joint (21) and the joint (21) comprises a pivot mount (22) having a predetermined axis (x-x) for the angular displacement of the rod sections (11, 12), and comprises a sliding mount (23) according to a predetermined sliding direction (y-y) for offsetting the rod sections (11, 12).

L'invention se rapporte à un appareil fixateur externe (1) de type fixateur à anneaux, conçu pour stabiliser les fractures osseuses, comportant au moins une paire d'anneaux (6, 7), l'un (6) de ces anneaux étant proximal et l'autre (7) distal, et au moins une tige d'assemblage (8, 9, 10) conçue pour relier l'un à l'autre les deux anneaux (6, 7). Chaque tige d'assemblage (8, 9, 10) est divisée en deux sections de tige (11, 12) reliées l'une à l'autre par un joint (21).
