The invention concerns a resonating antenna for hyperfrequency waves whose peripheral length determines the guide wavelength in the antenna. The ring (22) has zigzags or crenellations (46, 48). These crenellations have substantially radial portions (50) so that in general they do not produce any field disrupting the circular polarization of a signal to be transmitted. Such an antenna lends itself to miniaturization. It is omnidirectional over a large angle with a high degree of purity of circular polarization.

L'invention concerne une antenne résonnante pour des ondes hyperfréquences qui comprend un anneau dont la longueur périphérique détermine la longueur d'onde guidée dans l'antenne. L'anneau (22) présente des méandres ou créneaux (46, 48). Ces derniers ont des parties sensiblement radiales (50) telles que, dans leur ensemble, elles ne produisent pas de champ perturbateur de la polarisation circulaire d'un signal à émettre. Une telle antenne se prête à la miniaturisation. Elle est omidirectionnelle sur un grand angle avec un degré élevé de pureté de polarisation circulaire.
