ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A ringing control device for a group of lines of subscribers served by a connection network, comprising, for each line, a relay controlled by a ringing control signal and a timing signal delivered by the connection network, a common ringing generator, a supervisory circuit, for each line, deliv- ering a signal to the connection network if the receiver is lifted during a silence, and a common off-hook condition detec- tor delivering a signal if one of the receivers is lifted while a ringing current is being sent. The relay is controlled by AND circuit means receiving the ringing control signal and the timing signal from the connection network, and the signals from the supervisory circuit and the condition detector. The taskes of the connection network are thus reduced as much as possible and transmission of additional signals are avoided.
