The disclosure is of a device for feeding fastening elements (1-6) with a shaft and head, such as rivets or similar articles (and in particular those whose shaft length is in particular equal to or less than the head diameter), to a tappet (18) (adapted to the rivet head) of a riveting machine (10) with a transfer mechanism (20) which uses a fluid stream to bring one fastening element (1-6) at a time into an intermediate position near the tappet (18). In order to achieve a precise axial alignment of each fastening element (1-6) in front of the tappet, it is proposed that a radially elastic holding unit (60) capable of moving with the tappet should be provided in the riveting machine (10) (the holding unit must be able to hold the head (7) in its axial alignment directly against the tappet); and that the transfer mechanism (20) should be provided with means which allow a fastening element (1-6) to enter the holding device (60).
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'alimentation en éléments de fixation (1-6) présentant une tige et une tête, par exemple des rivets ou similaire, la longueur de la tige de ces éléments étant en particulier inférieure ou égale au diamètre de la tête. Ce dispositif achemine les éléments devant un coulisseau (18), adapté à la tête (7), d'une machine d'enfoncement (10) équipée d'un mécanisme de transfert (20) qui transporte chaque élément de fixation (1-6) au moyen d'un flux de fluide dans une position intermédiaire à proximité du coulisseau (18). L'alignement axial de chaque élément de fixation (1-6) acheminé devant le coulisseau est réalisé avec précision. A cet effet, un dispositif de maintien (60), pouvant se déplacer avec le coulisseau et déformable dans le sens radial, est prévu dans la machine d'enfoncement (10), ledit dispositif permettant de maintenir la tête (7) directement dans l'alignement axial du coulisseau, et le mécanisme de transfert (20) est équipé d'un système permettant à un élément de fixation (1-6) transporté de pénétrer dans le dispositif de maintien (60).
