Abstract of the Disclosure A two-way spreader that is equipped to grade and scarify the surface of a road bed having a dump body that is tiltably mounted up the chassis of a motor vehicle so that the back of the dump body can be raised and lowered between a rest position against the chassis and an elevated position above the chassis. A frame is secured to the bottom of the dump body which is suspended behind the chassis. An elongated scraper blade is secured in the lower part of the frame and extends transversely to either side of the chassis. During grading operations, the weight of the dump body rests upon the blade as it is moved over the road bed.
