ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A machine for forming a traffic dividing and regulating line in a predetermined direction on a roadway pavement, character- ized by comprising: a motor driven vehicle adapted to travel on the pavement in said direction; a first apparatus secured to and carri- ed by the vehicle and implemented for step-by-step laying on and securing to the pavement spaced lengths of a road marking line form- ing prefabricated tape material for sequentially producing an align- ment of first segments of tape in the direction, these segments being separated by intervals, a second apparatus secured to and carried by the vehicle and implemented for forming spaced marking line forming second segments in the intervals, co-aligned with the first segments, by localizedly and controlledly spraying a liquid substance on said pavement; whereby a composite traffic regulating line consisting of co-aligned and alternatively arranged first and second segments is formed on said pavement in said direction.
