During snow removal operations, equipment operators are known to use increasingly fast and efficient machines in order to speed up their work. Infrastructures such as sidewalks, street chains, parking curbstones and road curbs that are liable to be hidden in snow must therefore be adequately marked in order to ensure that they are not damaged by machinery and that the machinery itself is not damaged. None of the marking systems currently in use are designed to be mounted on the above-mentioned infrastructures. Winter markers are customarily installed in the fall and removed in the spring. The purpose of this invention is to provide a marking system for installation directly onto infrastructures; the marking stem is easy and fast to install and precisely identifies works that may be hidden by snow in the winter.

Comme il est d'usage que le balisage hivernal soit installé à l'automne pour être enlevé au printemps, l'objet de cette invention est de fournir un système de balisage s'installant directement aux infrastructures, dont la tige-repère est d'installation façile et rapide et identifie avec préçision les ouvrages que la neige pourrait cacher durant l'hiver.
