In one embodiment, a method of allowing a user to roam from one wireless network and interact with an Internet-based application is disclosed. The method comprises establishing a connection between a wireless mobile device and a first wireless network, wherein the connection allows the wireless mobile device to interact with an Internet-based application; tracking a state of interaction between the wireless mobile device and the Internet-based application; terminating the connection between the wireless mobile device and the first wireless network; establishing a connection between the wireless mobile device and a second wireless network; and sending, to the Internet- based application, data representing a state of interaction of the wireless mobile device with the Internet-based application prior to terminating the connection between the wireless mobile device and the first wireless network.
Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un procédé permettant à un utilisateur d'être itinérant à partir d'un réseau sans fil et d'interagir avec une application basée sur Internet. Ledit procédé consiste à établir une connexion entre un dispositif mobile sans fil et un premier réseau sans fil, ladite connexion permettant au dispositif mobile sans fil d'interagir avec une application basée sur Internet ; à suivre l'état de l'interaction entre le dispositif mobile sans fil et l'application basée sur Internet ; à mettre fin à la connexion entre le dispositif mobile sans fil et le premier réseau sans fil ; à établir une connexion entre le dispositif mobile sans fil et un second réseau sans fil ; et à envoyer, à l'application basée sur Internet, des données représentant un état d'interaction du dispositif mobile sans fil avec l'application basée sur Internet avant la cessation de connexion entre le dispositif mobile sans fil et le premier réseau sans fil.
