ABSTRACT A cooking utensil is disclosed having flexible means defining the perimeter of the utensil. The flexible means has opposing first and second ends. The utensil has handles attached to the first and second ends of the perimeter means. There is an inner flexible member extending in the longitudinal direction of the utensil and attached to the perimeter means at the first and second ends. The utensil has a plurality of transverse collapsible flexible members extending between the flexible means and the inner flexible member. The transverse members are spaced apart from one another and distributed between the first and second ends of the flexible means.
