A robotic arm (10) comprises a plurality of interconnected segments (12) which are flexible relative to each other to permit the arm (10) to be bent. A connection part (14) is provided at each end (22, 24) of the arm (10) for electrical connection with a selected docking station (18). The robotic arm (10) can be moved between a first and a second docking station (18) by bending the arm (10) such that the second end (24) of the arm (10) is connecting to the second docking station (18) and then disconnecting the first end (22) of the arm (10) from the first docking station (18). In this way the robotic arm (10) can be moved around a network of docking stations (18).
L'invention concerne un bras robotique (10) constitué d'une pluralité de segments interconnectés (12) flexibles les uns par rapport aux autres, grâce auxquels le bras (10) peut se fléchir. Une partie de connexion (14) située sur chaque extrémité (22, 24) du bras (10) assure une connexion électrique avec une station d'accueil (18) choisie. Le bras robotique (10) peut se déplacer entre une première et une seconde station d'accueil (18) en fléchissant le bras (10) de sorte que la seconde extrémité (24) du bras (10) se connecte à la seconde station d'accueil (18), puis en déconnectant la première extrémité (22) du bras (10) de la première station d'accueil (18). Le bras robotique (10) peut ainsi se déplacer le long d'un réseau de stations d'accueil (18).
