Abstract of the Disclosure A rock bit cone having a substantially conical body and teeth protruding from a surface of the conical body, each of the teeth being prepared as a separate insert of a hard metal and implanted in the conical body by a pressure-casting of the latter. The insert has an anti-dropout means formed on a root portion of the insert. The anti-dropout means is formed by increasing a diameter of the insert toward the end of a root portion thereof, for example.
