ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a system of rock bolting strapping between two bore holes and more is provided to give protection against rock bursting. The improvement is a U-shaped elongate member having a crown extending between a pair of bore holes, and two arms, each arm inserted into one of the bore holes and locked in the bore hole by anchor bolts. The U-shaped member may be formed by loops of wire rope inserted into bore holes.
